Dr. Bart W. Silverman

Dr. Bart Silverman received his DMD from the Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry in 1986. He completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Westchester County Medical Center in 1988 and served as chief resident there through 1989. He is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and holds licensures in dentistry from the states of New York and New Jersey. He is currently the president of the Bi-State Dental Study Group and the Rockland Implant Study Group, and serves as a clinical instructor and attending physician at Westchester County Medical Center and as an attending physician at Nyack Hospital. Dr. Silverman is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Association. He has presented his research findings on the topics of Hypertension, Calcium and Parotid Functioning and Dental Students' Concepts and Beliefs About Third Molars at two of the Annual Metropolitan American Association for Dental Research meetings and has also co-authored an article for the Journal of Dental Research. He has maintained a private practice for oral and maxillofacial surgery in New City, N.Y., since 1990.
