Dr. Connie L. Drisko
Professor, College of Dental Medicine at Georgia Health Sciences University
Dean Connie L. Drisko was a practicing dental hygienist for 16 years before earning her dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1980 and completing a hospital-based general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Leavenworth, Kansas. She received her certificate in periodontics and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 1990, chairing the organization in 2006. Currently, she is Dean and Merritt Professor at the College of Dental Medicine at Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta.
