Diane L. McKay, PhD

Dr. Diane L. McKay obtained a BS in Biological Sciences from Carnegie-Mellon University (1984) and, from Tufts University, a master’s degree in Biological Sciences and Nutrition Communications (1997) and a PhD in Human Nutrition (2000). Her multivitamin study is listed in the National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements 2000 Annual Bibliography of Significant Research. Dr. McKay is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition, from which she received the Best Review Paper Award in 2002. She is currently an assistant professor, and Director of the Graduate Online Certificate Program, in the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, and a research scientist at Tufts’ Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging, where she investigates the role of nutrients in health promotion.
