Dr. Hom-Lay Wang received a Bachelor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Taipei Medical College, Taiwan, Republic of China. He also received a Master of Dental Science (1987), a certificate in Periodontics (1987), and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (1989), all from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. He earned his PhD at Hiroshima University in Japan. Dr. Wang has published more than 25 book chapters/invited reviews and more than 350 scientific articles, and has delivered over 600 lectures worldwide. A diplomate and former director of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Wang has been endowed and honored with the collegiate professorship in periodontics and is Professor and Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
