Dr. Michael W. Roberts earned his DDS at the University of Texas, Houston Dental Branch, completed a general practice residency at the Brighton (MA) Marine Hospital and his MScD in pediatric dentistry at Boston University. During his 24 years with the U.S. Public Health Service, Dr. Roberts served for 8 years as the Deputy Clinical Director at the National Institute of Dental Research. He is a past president of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has published over 100 journal articles. He is currently the Henson Distinguished Professor and Associate Chair, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.
