Nneka Leiba, M.Phil., MPH

Nneka Leiba works primarily on water-related projects and toxics issues as a senior analyst for Environmental Working Group. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Biology and a Master of Philosophy degree in Aquatic Sciences from the University of the West Indies, as well as a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Ms. Leiba has researched both tap and bottled water while working at EWG. She was part of the research team that created the National Tap Water Database, featured in the New York Times. She has also lead investigations on the quality of Washington, D.C. drinking water, and the transparency and contaminant load of bottled water.
