Endorsements are an expression of achievement

Endorsements can cover a lot of ground and meanings these days from gaining approval or sanction; placing one’s signature on a document; assigning an interest or even a clause of stated coverage altering an insurance policy.

For those of us in the healing arts, gaining recognition by one’s peers — the ones who are truly in a position of understanding and knowledge to judge, is the ultimate endorsement.

After two years, Dear Doctor – Dentistry & Oral Health magazine is proud to announce our first endorsement from the prestigious American Association of Endodontists (AAE). Endodontics, the diagnosis and treatment of root canal issues, is represented by the AAE, a professional group that is also an educational resource for the public. We are both humbled and excited by this honor. The AAE will feature regular topics on this important area of dentistry.

Dear Doctor has also been recognized by the Gordon J. Christensen Clinicians Report, a well-recognized and premier reviewer of dental products for the dental profession. We are the first consumer educational magazine to receive their recognition and, with that recognition, a great source of pride and accomplishment for the staff of Dear Doctor.

In addition, we are in conversation with other dental organizations, which represent a large segment of today’s practicing dentists, who value patient education and the doctor-patient relationship.

These endorsements acknowledge the value of providing education on dentistry and oral health to the public. Dear Doctor, who’s goal is to become The New England Journal of Medicine for dentistry is being recognized for providing evidence based information and the most current information on all topics of dentistry and oral health.
