James Watson received DDS degrees from the University of California School of Dentistry. He interned at the U.C. Moffett Hospital. Continuing education plays a big part in Dr. Watson’s professional career. He is currently and has continuously participated in post graduate education through the University of Washington in smile design, periodontics, reconstructive dentistry and monthly Seattle Study Club meetings in Palo Alto. He has taken multiyear courses in endodontics, implant prosthodontics and TMD at UCSF. As recently as 2009, Dr. Watson was one of 300 invitees out of 15,000 dentists invited by Dr. Frank Spear of the Seattle Institute of Advanced Dental Education to teach at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
In addition to running his dental practice, Dr. Watson has donated his time and dental skills to Los Medicos Voladores, (Flying Doctors) a volunteer-based nonprofit organization that flies to the hill pueblos in Sonora, Mexico. He has been on-board with the charity for 15 years and truly enjoys this rewarding endeavor.
